This meeting is open to all HSN members that paid dues in 2009 or 2010. These meetings provide members with an opportunity to discuss current issues in greater depth, and to bring new issues to HSN's attention.
The major agenda item will be following up on the New Realities conference and preparing for the Community Congress.

COMMUNITY CONGRESS:
A NEW NEW DEAL FOR SAN FRANCISCO

The results of four summits -- HSN's New Realities conference, along with summits on economic development, Muni reform and affordable housing -- will form the basis for a citywide Community Congress to discuss, adopt and plan a comprehensive response to the assault on critical public services and the failure of the local economy to respond to the current and future needs of San Franciscans. We will join together to put forth a comprehensive, integrated set of locally actionable policies that make sense for the next decade.
HSN GENERAL MEMBER MEETING
HSN does not hold a general member meeting in August. The next meeting is Friday, September 17, 9:30 to 11:30 am at the LightHouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired, 214 Van Ness.
This meeting is open to HSN members only.

General member meetings are open to dues-paying HSN members and any organization interested in becoming a member. Meetings usually take place on the third Friday of the month from 9:30am - 11:30am at the LightHouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired, 214 Van Ness Avenue.
